Black Range Wind Farm

Project Black Range Wind Farm

Voyager Renewables is developing a large-scale wind and battery storage project approximately 30km south of Keith in South Australia.

The project will generate up to 400 MW of wind power energy. A co-located Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) will store excess electricity when demand is low and deliver it back to the grid when demand is high.

Project benefits

  • Increase renewable energy generation and security in South Australia.
  • Generate local opportunities through supplier engagements during construction.
  • Support sustainable communities through long term and locally led investment.

Next steps

The project is in early development. We will continue to engage with the community and other key stakeholders including state and local government.

We have started detailed environmental studies across the project area. Information updates will be shared here as the project progresses.
